Welcome to the alThaqalayn web site. Our goal is to propagate the precious words, and the rich culture, of the Noble Wilāyah for entire human race in the world.                                                                  One Lord (Allāh), One Dīn (Divinity), and One Wilāyah (World-Law).                                                                  Verily, I leave among you two invaluable things (ath-Thaqalyn): The Book of Allāh, and my household, my Ahl al-Bayt.

Imām al-Riḍā ▧:

May Allāh ◣ shower mercy upon an obedient who has revived our cause.  The Imām was asked “how could one revive your cause”?  He replied: by learning about our knowledge, and making it known to [other] people.  People would indeed follow us if they knew about the virtue of our words.

 Book No. 25, v.1, p.180

Imām al-Ḥusayn ▧:

Verily, the love of us, Ahl al- Bayt, sheds sins off an individual, just as a strong wind sheds leaves off the tree.

Book No. 3, v. 27, p. 77, h. 9, c. 4.

Imām al-Bāqir ▧:

A believer can escalate to highest degree of belief with prudent study of our narration.

Book No. 3, v. 1, p. 106, h. 2, c. 3.

Ḥaḍrat Fāṭimah Zahrā ▨:

We, Ahl al-Bayt, are the intermediaries in His Creation, we are His favourites, and the descending point of divinities, and we are His final Proof of His unseen world, and we are inheritors of His prophets.

The Fatimiyyeh Sahifah, p.174

THE PERMITTED AND THE FORBIDDEN

17-01

The best manners are those which inhibit you from the Forbidden [i] .

[i] - Al-Ḥarām means the illegitimate (the disallowed, the forbidden); anything that Allāh (J.J.) is not satisfied with.  It is the opposite of al-Ḥalāl (the legitimate, the allowed, or the permitted).  Islam, the perfected dīn of Allāh (J.J.) has made it crystal clear as to what acts are Ḥarām and what acts are Ḥalāl.  Please refer to any book of Jurisprudence, or try the following links.  The first four websites include “Jurisprudence Made Easy”:

al-’Imām al-‘Ali (a.s.):  Book No. 2, p. 247, h. 5079.

17-02

Eating the Ḥarām [ food] drives away the ’imān [i] .

[i] -Belief, please refer to the Glossary.

Prophet Muḥammad (ph&hp):  Book No. 15.

17-03

O Allāh !  Forgive me those sins which imprison the prayer.

al-’Imām al-‘Ali (a.s.):The well-known duā Kumiyl

17-04

Praying is from you; and I take responsibility to answer your prayers.  But no prayer is concealed from Me except the prayer of he who consumes Ḥarām.

Allāh (J.J.):  al-ḥadith al-Qudsi, Book No. 34 , p. 139.

17-05

One, who likes his prayers to be answered, must purify what he eats and what he earns.

Prophet Muḥammad (ph&hp):  Book No. 34 , p. 139.

17-06

Verily a man among you raises his hands towards the sky and calls O Lord, O Lord, while his food is from Ḥarām and his clothing is from Ḥarām.  So, what prayer is answered in this case?  And what action is accepted from him when he spends from non-ḥalāl [money]?  If he goes for Ḥajj pilgrimage, his Ḥajj is Ḥarām, and if he pays charity, his charity is Ḥarām, and if he marries, his marriage is Ḥarām, and if he fasts, his fasting is Ḥarām.  So, woe to him; he does not know that Allāh (J.J.) is indeed pure, and does not accept except the pure.  In fact, He says in His Book:  Verily Allāh shall only accept from the chaste.

Prophet Muḥammad (ph&hp): Book 33, v. 1, p. 70.

17-07

One who earns his money from other than a Ḥalāl ways, he will spend it in other than rightful ways (simply:  One who earns money from forbidden ways, he spends it in immoral affairs).

al-Imām  al-‘Ali (a.s.):  Book No. 2, p. 355, h. 8109.

17-08

Any intoxicant is Ḥarām.  If a large amount of anything causes intoxication, then even one sip of it is Ḥarām.

Prophet Muḥammad (ph&hp):  Book No.  4, p. 43 4 .

17-09

Verily, Allāh (J.J.) has forbidden the wine as it causes corruption, invalidation of the intellect to accept realities, and eradication of bashfulness of the person (making him barefaced).

al-’Imām ar-Riḍā(a.s.):  Book No. 9, v. 17, c. 5, p. 45, h. 20693.

17-10

One, who abstains from whatever Allāh (J.J.) has forbidden, is among the most pious people.

al-’Imām Sajjād(a.s.):  Book No. 9, v. 11, c. 23, p. 277, h. 12999.
