Imām al-Riḍā ▧:

May Allāh ◣ shower mercy upon an obedient who has revived our cause.  The Imām was asked “how could one revive your cause”?  He replied: by learning about our knowledge, and making it known to [other] people.  People would indeed follow us if they knew about the virtue of our words.

Imām al-Ḥusayn ▧:

Verily, the love of us, Ahl al- Bayt, sheds sins off an individual, just as a strong wind sheds leaves off the tree.

Book No. 3, v. 27, p. 77, h. 9, c. 4.

Imām al-Bāqir ▧:

A believer can escalate to highest degree of belief with prudent study of our narration.

Book No. 3, v. 1, p. 106, h. 2, c. 3.

Ḥaḍrat Fāṭimah Zahrā ▨:

We, Ahl al-Bayt, are the intermediaries in His Creation, we are His favourites, and the descending point of divinities, and we are His final Proof of His unseen world, and we are inheritors of His prophets.

پند و اندرز

ORAL SOLEMN ADVICE

7-01

اَلْحِكْمَةُ لا تَنْجِعْ فِى الطِّباعِ الْفاسِدَةِ.

نصيحت در نهاد هاى فاسد اثرى ندارد.

Moral advice is not effective in the corrupt natures .

Al-Imām Hādi(a.s.):  Book No. 3, v. 75, p. 370


7-02

كُلٌّ مُيَسَّرٌ لِما خُلِقَ لَهُ.

هركس براى آنچه خلق گرديده ميسر شده است (به آسانی آمادگی دارد).

Everyone is easily led to what he is created for .

7-03

اَلْمَواعِظُ صِقالُ النُّفوُسِ وَ جَلاءُ الْقُلوُبِ.

پند و اندرز صيقل دهنده جانها و روشنايى بخش دلها هستند.

Moral advice is purifier of the spirit and enlightener of the heart .

ما كَرِهْتَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ فَاكْرَهْهُ لِغَيْرِكَ وَ ما اَحْبَبْتَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ فَاَحِبَّهُ لاَخيكَ.

از آنچه براى خود اكراه دارى براى ديگران هم اكراه دار.  و آنچه را براى خود دوست مى دارى براى برادرت هم دوست بدار.

Dislike for others what you dislike for yourself, and like for your brothers [1] what you like for yourself .

اِعْلَمْ اَنَّ النَّصْرَ مَعَ الصَّبْرِ وَ اَنَّ الْفَرَجَ مَعَ الْكَرْبِ وَ اَنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْراً.

         بدانيد كه در حقیقت پيروزى همراه صبر، و گشايش همراه رنج، و آسانى همراه سختى است.

Know that verily the victory is with patience, and certainly the relief is with tribulation, and indeed the comfort is with hardship .

7-06

اِنْتِباهُ الْعُيوُنِ لايَنْفَعُ مَعَ غَفْلَةِ الْقُلوُبِ.

با بيخبرى دل، بيدارى ديدگان نفعى نخواهد داشت.

Vigilant eyes are of no benefit [if associated] with neglectful heart (conscience) .

Al-Imām ʿAli (a.s.):Book No. 2, p. 67, h. 909


7-07

ثَلاثٌ لَمْ يَجْعَلِ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لاَِحَدٍ فيهِنَّ رُخْصَةً:   اَداءُ الاَمانَةِ اِلَى الْبَرِّ وَ الْفاجِرِ وَ الْوَفاءُ بِالْعَهْدِ لِلْبَرِّ وَ الْفاجِرِ وَ بِرُّ الْوالِدَيْنِ بَرَّيْنِ كانا اَوْ فاجِرَيْنِ.

در سه مورد خداوند عَزَّ و جَلَّ به هيچكس اجازه تخفيف نداده است: پس دادن امانت چه به نيكوكار و چه به بدكار، و وفاء به پيمان چه با نيكوكار و چه با بدكار، و خوش رفتارى با پدر و مادر، چه نيكوكار باشند، چه بدكار.

The Lord of Might and Majesty has not given permission to be easygoing towards three [cases]:  Delivery of what is entrusted either to the righteous or to the wicked, keeping of the promise either to the righteous or to the wicked, and good behaviour with parents, disregarding whether they are righteous or wicked .

Al-Imām Bāqir(a.s.):  Book No. 7, v. 2, p. 162, h. 15


7-08

بَيْنَكُمْ وَ بَيْنَ الْمَوْعِظَةِ حِجابٌ مِنَ الغِرَّةِ.

بين شما و بين پند و اندرز حجابى است از غرور.

There is a mask of conceit between you and the solemn moral advice .

Al-Imām Ḥasan(a.s.) :   Book No. 1, No. 282


7-09

رَحِمَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً وَعَظَ نَفْسَهُ وَ وَعَظَ اَخاهُ وَ اَهْلَ بَيْتِهِ.

خدا رحمت ميكند كسى راكه خود و برادر خود و اهل خانه خود را پند دهد.

Allāh (J.J.) s mercy is upon he who gives moral advice to himself, his brothers, and his family.

Al-Imām Ḥasan (a.s.) :   Book No. 13, v. 2, p. 212


7-10

اَسْمَعُ اَلاَسْماعِ ما وَعَى التَّذْكيرَ و انْتَفَعَ بِهِ.

شنواترين گوشها آن است كه اندرز و نصيحت او را بيدار كرده از آن بهره‏مند شود.

The best listener is one who wakes up by moral advice, and takes opportunity from it [1] .
